Chief’s Thinstall Series of ultra-low profile swing arm mounts now includes new models to accommodate displays ranging from 10 to 58 inches. In addition, the mounts can now be combined with a dedicated line of Thinstall accessories. The new accessories include component shelves, speaker adapters, in-wall boxes and a portrait adapter – all of which add less than 0.25” to the depth of the installation

Chief’s Fusion Series extension accessory, FCA103, adds 3 to 5 inches of space behind the mount to make room for larger CPUs in digital signage applications. The depth is adjustable in 0.25” increments and the shelf can be located either between, or on the outside of the Fusion upright brackets. Combined with a Fusion Series mount, the complete configuration supports equipment up to 250 lbs; max weight capacity on the FCA103 shelf is 30 lbs.

ATEN International, a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced connectivity solutions, today unveiled its VanCryst™ HDMI Media Distribution Solution (MDS) which enables users to distribute full high-definition media content to multiple displays situated in various locations. ATEN’s HDMI MDS is comprised of a four-port VS1804T or eight-port VS1808T HDMI over Cat5 splitter in conjunction with a VE800R HDMI extender.

The Contemporary Research QMOD-SDI HD-SDI Modulator offers an affordable solution to distributing HD-SDI media facility-wide as an HDTV digital cable channel.
